- 10 creditsGlobal Hospitality and Tourism IndustryThis module will focus on understanding the frame of the Global Hospitality and Tourism Industry, while attention will be given to the ways in which hospitality and tourism are affected by macroeconomic policies and global issues affect the market in services. This module will also address other co-dependent factors that structure the Hospitality and Tourism product economic, socio-cultural and political environments.20 creditsInternational Hospitality and Tourism Management and MarketingThe module incorporates management and marketing principles applied to the international hospitality and tourism industry. In an attempt to manage supply and demand in order to successfully market tourism destinations as well as hospitality services, students scrutinise theoretical concepts of management and marketing and analyse practical examples from the public and private sector in the global market.20 creditsInternational Financial and Revenue ManagementThis module is designed to provide students with an in-depth understanding of important finance concepts and methods involved in the area of hospitality finance along with a high level of critical examination within a global hospitality business context.10 creditsPeople Management in the Hospitality and Tourism IndustryThis module demonstrates a concrete understanding in both knowledge and skills of Human Resource Management required by managers in the hospitality industry. It introduces the foundations of strategic analysis and choices that tie into an organisation’s business decisions. Finally, it recognises the management of human resources at all levels that can critically affect the efficiency and effectiveness of an organisation.

- 20 creditsStrategic Management for Hospitality and TourismThis module integrates previous modules, including marketing, finance, accounting, operations, and introduces them to strategic management concepts focusing on corporate strategy formulation and implementation in the Hospitality and Tourism sectors. The goal is to develop a mastery of the analytical tools to perform analyses of the industry and competitors and take educated decisions regarding competitive strategy.20 creditsResearch Methods for Hospitality and Tourism IndustryThis module focuses on the systematic study and comprehension of research methods as a necessary procedure to for the designing, researching and writing of a dissertation. The module has been designed specifically to meet the needs of postgraduate students who will undertake research to the field of Hospitality and Tourism. The module prepares the students for writing and completing the Master’s dissertation.10 creditsDigital Tourism MarketingThis module introduces students to the digital travel landscape and current practices relating to digital tourism marketing, helping them to identify and embrace current and future opportunities to reach, and engage with the visitors. It also presents theoretical frameworks and models and digital business strategies, techniques, tools, social media platforms, and KPI’s that are driving the digital travel revolution.10 creditsCrisis and Disaster Management and Planning in Hospitality and TourismThis module explores the concepts of crisis and disaster management in the tourism and hospitality industry. It enables students to develop a critical understanding of the risks and threats that can affect tourism as well as the importance of planning and business continuity in the aftermath of a crisis and/or a disaster.

- 60 creditsInternational Hospitality and Tourism DissertationThe Postgraduate dissertation focuses on the design, development and completion of a research project in the field of Hospitality & Tourism. Upon completion, students will have developed a comprehensive academic research outcome.
Applicants can be admitted to the course as long as they possess:
- a 2nd class honours degree from a UK University, or
- a Ptychion of 6.0 and above from an AEI University or
- a Ptychion of 7.0 and above from a TEI University, or
- a Bachelor from an American University with GPA 2.75 and above or equivalent qualification.
- IELTS: a minimum score of 6.5 (with a minimum score of 6.0 in each component of the test)
- Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE): Pass at C1 level
- Cambridge Advanced Certificate in English (CAE): Grade C and above
- Cambridge First Certificate in English (FCE): Grade b and above.
- Examination for the Certificate Proficiency in English (ECPE): P (Pass) and above.
- Pearson Academic (PTE): 53 (with a minimum score of 51 in each component of the test)
- BCA IELTS Placement Test : a minimum score of 6.5 (with a minimum score of 6.0 in each component of the test)

While most students will aim to achieve the full Masters qualification, all Masters courses offer the subsidiary awards of Postgraduate Certificate or Postgraduate Diploma (both available with Merit or with Distinction) for students unable to complete their full programme of study.

Awarded for 180 credit modules Dr. Christina Konstantinidou holds a DBA degree in Business Administration from Nottingham Trent University. She received an MBA degree in Business Administration from Kingston University and a BA degree from the same university.
She has long working experience in the hospitality industry. For 23 years she has worked as the General Manager of Porto Hydra Hotel (4stars, 300 rooms) and for 3 years as the General Manager of “Time Share Hellas S.A.”. For 21 consecutive years she was a member of the Board of Directors of Akti Plepi S.A. and for 8 years the Managing Director of the company “Diachiristiki S.A.”.
She has lecturing experience in the private sector and she had a lecturing collaboration with «Univeristy Degli Studio Guglielmo Marconi».
She has published several articles in newspapers and magazines focusing on issues of the hospitality sector.
Konidis Sotiris
Sotirios I. Konidis, Head of Business Department at BCA Business College of Athens. He teaches Economics and Strategy both at Undergraduate and Postgraduate level modules. He began teaching at York University, and Guelph University, Canada in 1986. He is graduate of York University with an M.A., B.A. in Economics and with doctoral studies in Industrial Economics and Game Theory. Upon his return in Greece he did consulting for GRECOTEL S.A. In addition, he has conducted various researches and studies as Chief Researcher in Economic and Industrial Development for organizations in the private and public sector. He has been the Chief Academic Researcher in a number of studies regarding Managing Sustainable Development for the Prefectures of East Macedonia and Thrace and Sterea Hellas. Currently, he is the Chief Economist and Management Consultant for ERGOPLAN S.A., a Development and Management firm and Scientific Advisor to ERGON KEK, a Vocational Training Institute in Athens.
