The programme targets professionals who do not hold a university degree but have work experience. Recognising that experience at posts of responsibility is equivalent to years of studies, the British educational system offers experienced professionals the opportunity to complete their knowledge by studying for a year, get their degree and then, optionally, proceed with postgraduate studies.
The BA (Hons) Business Studies (top-up) programme fills any professional’s potential academic and theoretical gaps, while focusing on lifelong learning through the development of a broad range of intellectual, practical and work-related skills. Students study topics such as human resource management, marketing, strategy, change management, business ethics, corporate social responsibility. Moreover, the programme analyses the conditions and prospects of the global market, also developing the business and organisational skills of the professionals – students.
The top-up degree is the final year (Level 6) of an undergraduate course. Senior High School or Technical Educational Institute graduates with at least two years of relevant work experience can select this programme and upgrade their essential as well as typical qualifications. The programme also targets graduates of other schools with degrees in different fields who want to obtain a second degree in order to pursue a career in business.

Students are educated on the fundamental principles that govern the operations of a business and business activity in general.
They learn a wide range of skills, from the development of a functional business plan to the ability to present and “sell” an idea to clients or potential financiers.
New technologies are considered to be particularly important, since their use is now necessary at all stages of business activity.
The programme explores modern business concepts such as corporate social responsibility, business ethics, sustainability, globalisation, e-commerce, business innovation.
Teaching is conducted through a combination of methods that aim to sharpen students’ creativity and develop their critical thinking. It is complemented by lectures and seminars by market executives.
The programme includes educational trips and visits to companies, particularly those distinguished for their innovative character.
Studying at BCA, you live in Greece but you are exposed to the learning experience designed and provided by a high-level British or Swiss University and you are awarded the same, Bachelor & Master degrees, awarded to UK and Swiss students., which are recognized in the Greek and international labor market. In addition, you will benefit from the digital technology with the specialized online educational platforms developed by BCA and incorporated into the Blended Learning philosophy.

An indicative applicant should possess an Apolytirion of at least 12 or IB Diploma or equivalent. However, we would welcome students to apply who have an Apolytirion of less than 12 provided that their marks on relevant subjects achieved prior to the panhellenic exams in the final year of schooling are at the level of 12 or above. Interviews will be conducted, and applicants will be considered for their overall ability to attend the programme alongside all the above grades.

Intensive English classes are provided to those students who do not meet the English requirements.
Applicants must also have working experience in the business sector.
Dr. Zoi Anagnostidou graduated from the Economics Department of the University of Thessaly in 2004. Following, she received a postgraduate degree in Management with Marketing from the University of Bath (UK), and a Ph.D. in Consumer Behaviour from the Athens University of Economics and Business (Department of Marketing & Communications).
Since 2008, she has been teaching marketing and communication and has worked as a freelance analyst-consultant on various projects. Her current research interests lie in the area of Consumer Behaviour and Psychology, as well as Corporate Social Responsibility.
