Master in Project Management

Project management is vital in all areas of business, from finance and information technology to healthcare and public services. This postgraduate program equips you with the skills and know-how needed to take on the responsibility of designing and executing complex projects in the modern global business environment.

Although projects may differ in type and size, the management rules are the same. MSc Project Management students are trained in all the parameters related to the management of a project, in all its stages: planning, monitoring, control and delivery. Some of the courses are: Basic Principles of Project Management, Change and Innovation Management, Budget and Financial Control of Projects, Leadership, People and Multicultural Management, Program and Portfolio Management, Project Management Tools and Techniques.

As the program combines practical skills and research character – project management requires extensive research – students undertake important research activities as part of their studies. The main unit of the program is the research dissertation as a dissertation, which requires knowledge of specialized techniques, computer applications, evaluation and comparison systems, which must be completed within a limited time frame.

Graduates can work as project managers, consultants, team members in a project, portfolio or project office. They can also, as freelancers, collaborate on a case-by-case basis with other freelancers, of the same or related specialties, setting up international project management teams.
