Postgraduate legal studies, with an international horizon

There are areas in legal science that are not only unsaturated, but are considered the specialties of the future, internationally. They relate to large financial figures for this and their earnings are proportional. These areas include the 3 Postgraduate Programs offered by BCA in collaboration with the University of West London:

• Maritime and Maritime Law (LLM Maritime Law). Provides expertise in legal issues faced by maritime, shipping and maritime companies in their day-to-day operations. It is one of the most important areas of specialization for a lawyer, as more than 90% of world trade is conducted by sea. It is also an evolving field, including provisions for environmental protection and new working rules on modern ships.
• International Commercial and Business Law (LLM International Commercial and Business Law). In an internationalized economy, most transactions take place between companies based in different countries, with different legislation and different trading habits. In addition, there is a logistics chain between sender and recipient. Many problems in international trade are due to uncertainty about which national law will apply, insufficient information and a different interpretation. The program focuses on international economic law, the modern financial legal framework, the legal regulation of transactions, competition law and the problems associated with competing national jurisdictions.
• International Intellectual Property Law (LLM International) is one of the most interesting but also complex areas of Law. From the millions of “channels” of copyright distribution, all over the world, there are very often copyright issues for photos, videos, visuals, texts, controversies over the identity of the creator, collaboration projects, works of employees and contractors, custom works, works by faculty members and Research Centers, works contained in another work, such as the script and the musical theme of a film) kinship rights, copyright heirs and a host of other cases, which require very good legal training and knowledge of the case law of different countries.

BCA postgraduate programs create professionals with developed legal skills and international career prospects. Postgraduate degrees are awarded by the University of West London and are exactly the same as those awarded to those studying in London.
