    Dr. Todaro Simona

    Dr. Simona Todaro holds a PhD in Aegean Prehistory from the Sheffield University, an MA  in Aegean Prehistory from  the Italian School of Archaeology in Athens and an BA in Classical Studies (with a specialization in archaeology) from Catania University. In 2022, she was appointed an Associate Professor in Prehistory and Protohistory and a Director of the ArchaeoLab in the Department of Human Sciences of Catania University. Since 2019, she has been a scientific director of the Master “DALLA MATRICE AL TORNIO: la produzione ceramica a Festòs tra la fine del IV e la metà del II millennio”, at the Italian Archaeological School of Archaeology in Athens. She has extensive teaching experience at undergraduate and postgraduate levels as she has been teaching and supervising dissertations at Catania University since 2008. She has published a plethora of monographs, chapters in edited volumes, and academic articles. Finally, Dr Todaro has been appointed for acknowledged standing and prizes, received national and international grants for multidisciplinary research projects and participated in many excavations and fieldworks in Italy and Greece as well as in funded projects led by other scholars.
