This module is an introduction to the study of ethics and social responsibility of corporate activity in Greece, UK, and the Global Business Environment. It highlights the importance of business ethics and focuses on topics such as stakeholder Relationships, social Responsibility and Corporate Governance, the Concept of New Ethics Values and Ethics, ethical theories in an organisational setting, egoism, utilitarianism, human rights and Kantian ethics, social contract theories, virtue ethics and the moral community, emerging Business Ethics Issues, institutionalization of Business Ethics, ethical Decision-Making, and Ethical Leadership. It refers also to individual (Moral Philosophies) and organizational Factors (The Role of Ethical Culture and Relationships) and explains how to develop an Effective Ethics Program and finally demonstrates how to implement and Audit an Ethics Program Business Ethics in a Global Economy.
