BSc Maritime Business Top-Up (Online)

BSc Maritime Business Top-Up (On Line)

This top-up programme is aimed at people who are already working in shipping companies and do not hold a university degree, but wish to obtain one in order to enrich their knowledge and broaden their career prospects. In accordance with the UK curriculum, professional experience of at least two years may be considered equivalent to a period of studies and lead to a university degree, provided that the person concerned will enrol in a higher education programme (of a shorter duration) and pass the relevant examinations. As an option, the programme can be attended 100% remotely, so that students may also carry out their professional obligations without any problem. The full-time programme has a duration of one year, while the part-time programme lasts for two years. The successful completion of the programme leads to the award of a BSc (Hons) Maritime Business top-up.

The programme offers comprehensive knowledge combined with modern experience in the fields of ship management, chartering, sales and markets, shipping line, legislation, as well as many other fields of interest for the sector, offering a rich and solid theoretical background for a successful career in the international shipping industry. It also allows you to continue your studies at postgraduate level.

BSc (Hons) Maritime Business is also suitable for university graduates from different subject areas who wish to change their professional scope and enter the highly promising shipping industry.
