Social Psychology

This course is designed to provide students with key issues in theory and research in social psychology. Social psychology is the study of how people’s thoughts, feeling and behaviour are influenced by the actual, imagined, or implied presence of others. This module introduces an indicative range of topics from social psychology within the context of historical and theoretical development, such as social perception, attitudes and persuasion, prejudice, stereotyping and discrimination, social influence and group behavior, romantic relationships and more.
