Rooms Division Operation & Management

This course will analyze and interpret the role of Rooms Division in the hotel industry. Students will be taught Rooms Division terminology, how to handle guest requests and complaints, and how to improve service quality. In addition, they will be taught topics such as: front office accounting, the process of settling accounts, the front office audit process, cleaning science, budgeting and cleaning costs, In addition, students will learn the correct steps for the booker to follow in terms of check-in, check-out, and booking procedures. Finally, students will be able to use Opera and Protel software by completing basic functions such as making new reservations, check in and check out, registration cards, room rates, currency conversion and payment methods.
