Students will analyse the different categories of assets and define mutual funds and fundamental and technical analyses. Moreover, they will explore in-depth the basic performance analysis concepts and benchmarking in investments. Students will understand the process of portfolio management and differentiate active from passive investments. The basic elements of modern portfolio theory will be also examined. Finally, during this module students will learn how to apply portfolio performance evaluation measures and how to effectively allocate the various financial assets.
