Law of International Finance

The module focuses on the law, legal and regulatory issues affecting major transactions in the global financial markets; primarily International Loan Agreements; International Bond Issues; International Project Finance; Derivatives and Securitizations.  It provides an in-depth understanding of how such international finance transactions are structured and the various legal and regulatory issues which arise. The module examines also the architecture and international institutions of the global financial system, such as the World Bank, the IMF and the European Monetary System
