Cognitive and Affective Neuroscience

This course focuses on the neural underpinnings of cognitive (for example memory, attention), and affective (emotion, evaluation) processes. The interrelationship between these processes is discussed too. The neural mechanisms that help give rise to social and emotional phenomena are considered. Current theories and methods of research in cognitive, and affective neuroscience are discussed taking a multi-level approach of the brain.
