Mr Panagiotis Fiampolis is graduate of the Military Academy of Greece, the Hellenic Productivity Centre/ELKEPA, the Greek Army Programmers School, and the United States Programmers School. He holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering from the Naval Postgraduate School USA, a degree from the Greek Army War College and a degree in Strategic and International Geopolitical Studies from the Centre D’ Etudes Diplomatiques et Strategiques (CEDES) in cooperation with National Kapodistrian University.

The last 20 years, he has been teaching as local lecturer for various universities in undergraduate and postgraduate programs the following subjects: Software Engineering, Project Management, Management Information Systems, Systems Analysis and Design, Rapid Application Development, Human Computer Interaction, Systems Building, Quality Management, Data Communications and Networking, Risk Assessment for System Change, Innovation management and new product development, Computer Security, Data Bases, Information and Decision Support Systems.

In 2007, he retired from the position of the Director of Command, Control, Communication and Information Systems of the Greek Army, with the rank of Colonel of Informatics Research. In the period 2007-2018, he worked as the Director of Research and Development in Peoplecert SA and since 2018 he has been the ΙΤ Director and Deputy CTO. Since 2018 he has been teaching In BCA Management Information Systems for the MBA for Executives.

He has translated the books «Java 2 From Scratch», under the Greek title “Οδηγός της Java 2”, 2001 and «XML by example» under the Greek title, “Οδηγός της XML με παραδείγματα”, 2001.

He has been certified as PRINCE 2 Practitioner, IT Governance Foundation based on CobiT® 5.0, Usable Security-Coursera. DEVOPS Leadership-PeopleCert, RESILIA Practitioner-PeopleCert
His research interests are Software Engineering and Development.
