Ioanna N. Pentheroudakis born and raised in Athens Greece in 1979 graduated ‘Arsakion Lyceum’. She then Studied Shipping at BCA and proceeded with her BSc in Maritime Business and Maritime Law at Plymouth University – U.K. She was further awarded with MSc in International Transport and Shipping from University Of Cardiff U.K.

She has been practicing shipping for over 20 years as a competitive shipbroker and as an in- house broker in Greek and European Ship owning companies. At the same time she has been teaching Shipping for 14 years in Greece and she is also an e-learning course contributor in the U.K. Her areas of lecturing have been, Chartering, Carriage of goods By Sea Law, Introduction to Shipping, Cross – cultural management in Shipping and Human resource management in shipping.

She has been a member of the Board of Directors in Shipping Associations Such as Hellenic Shipbrokers Association and Women International Shipping and Trading Association.
