Dr. Stergiani Mourgkou was born and raised in the United States. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Management and Organizational Behavior from the American College of Greece (1997) before pursuing post-graduate degrees in the United Kingdom and the United States. She completed her first master’s degree in Human Resources and Industrial Relations at the London School of Economics and Political Science (1999) and obtained her second master’s degree from New Hampshire College in 2000. Additionally, she holds a doctorate from the University of Bath. Throughout her studies, she was a fellow of various institutions, including the Alexander S. Onassis Public Benefit Foundation. Dr. Mourgkou has almost a decade of professional experience in the areas of Human Resource Management and Marketing in the retail and banking sectors. Her research interests are concentrated in the areas of job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and organizational justice.
