Dr Evangelos I. Poutos

Dr. Poutos I. Evangelos received his first degree from the Department of Economics of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (2001) and then obtained a postgraduate diploma from the University of London (2002). He completed his studies at the Hellenic Open University, from where he received his doctorate with honors (2009).

In the past, he has been in charge of the Undergraduate Program in Accounting and Finance and the Postgraduate Program in Accounting and Finance. At the moment, in addition to being the head of the distance education unit of the BCA College of Athens (BCA) and lecturer of Finance and Accounting courses, he teaches in the postgraduate program of the National Technical University of Athens “Techno-Economic Systems”.

In the past he has taught at the Department of Economics of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, at the Hellenic Open University in the postgraduate course “Banking”, at Harokopio University, at the postgraduate course “Finance and Accounting”, and at the TEI of Athens, Department of Business.

His scientific and research interests focus on the field of financial planning and development, the use of financial statements for sound decision making and proper planning always in relation to the financial environment, financial accounting, and the impact of the financial environment on profit distribution of businesses.
