Before working at Euroconsultants and Maggioli (November 2020), where he deals mostly with the Central Government, the Local Government and the Recovery & Resilience Fund, Mr. Apostolos Sigouras was for 3 years the Head of the KPMG Greece advisory team for the SRSS/DG REFORM projects of Digital Transformation. He also served for 5 years as CEO of NAFSOLP S.A. (a subsidiary of the Piraeus Port Authority) and for 1 year as Certifications Director at the Hellenic Register of Shipping. He served as Project Manager for 3 years at Information Society S.A., responsible for the e-Health projects of the 3rd Community Support Framework, with a total budget of more than 100 million euros, at the stage of preselection, selection, and evaluation. He worked in the USA for 6 years, of which 3 years as Vice President of Planning and Development (Top Management Group) at a company of 28 television stations. He also worked for 5 years as a Business Manager/Consultant at Big 4 companies and for 3 years as a freelancer, mainly in ICT and Consulting projects. He is for more than 15 years an Evaluator of European Programs regarding more than 200 proposals. He has participated in many international conferences as a speaker, and he has published many articles. He is also a Certified instructor at the National Centre for Public Administration and Local Government (EKDDA). Mr. Sigouras holds a master’s degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering from the University of Southern California (USC) and a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
