MSc Financial Technology

Be a pioneer by specialising in emerging technologies

The MSc in Financial Technology programme is widely known as FinTech. It focuses on the emerging financial industry that uses technologies such as blockchain, artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning to improve the effectiveness, security and transparency of financial services. It is addressed to executives who seek to be constantly on the cutting edge of technology and are interested in the FinTech revolution, which offers opportunities for innovation and strategic choices. The teaching will involve, as invited speakers, distinguished FinTech executives who will provide students with first-hand information about the sector’s developments and challenges and conduct workshops so that they can analyse together examples from the international experience. By combining the theoretical aspect with FinTech applications, the department’s students will acquire all prerequisites for a career in this emerging, innovative field. The programme includes a number of tasks that students will complete, either individually or in groups, on which they will be graded. If they wish, they can continue their studies at PhD level.
