The 5-star boutique hotel, created by BCA specifically for the education of students of the Department of Hospitality and Tourism Management, has fully automated functions that are remotely controlled from a mobile phone. The guest can program the room temperature and lighting, set what the mini bar contains, turn the electrical appliances on and off. The sponsor of the smart room is “Kotsovolos” which has the technology and devices for “smart” business spaces and homes. The new technology is especially useful as it controls all the functions of a house, eliminates accidents, but also saves money as it programs for maximum efficiency with the lowest possible cost.
