    Job Search Techniques

    Job Search Techniques

By creating your LinkedIn profile, use keywords!

In order for hr consultants or department managers who are interested in your profile to pay attention to your profile, make sure to include in your profile keywords that interest them and that they use when searching for candidate profiles. To do this, read carefully the ads, specifically the descriptions of the positions you are interested in and use these words eg. Which refer to the title of the post, the qualifications and/or the duties.

Develop your professional connections through LinkedIn

LinkedIn is a means of professional networking and you can create new connections with professionals in your industry or any industry that interests you. Read the people’s profile and then if you want to log in, you can send a request. In this way, you will succeed in getting to know professionals and sending your CV!

    Write Cover Letter!

You can write a cover letter even though many job advertisements do not require it. This way you will be able to gain an advantage because you spend time and focus on the position for which you send your CV. You can create a cover letter template and modify it depending on the company and the position for which you are responding.

     Post your CV

Make sure to post your CV in databases of Headhunters companies such as. Adecco, Randstad, Manpower etc so that they can easily find you. Also, respond at the same time to the positions that interest you through the company’s site. Usually what is stated in the ads is that the managers will contact the candidates who have responded to the ad.

     Follow-Up via LinkedIn

Once you have sent your CV and you meet the position you are interested in, follow-up within 2-3 days. You can call or send an email to the person in charge of the ad to confirm that they have received your CV! So they will learn your name, they will understand that you are interested in the position quite a lot and the chances of a possible interview increase!
