Resilient Supply Chain Management

The key standards and concepts of Supply Chain Risk Management are examined, and more particularly, the supply chain risk and uncertainty, the disruption risks in the supply chains, and the Ripple Effect in the supply chains. Focus is also given on, managing supply chain resilience (SCR), the strategic understanding of SCR, the SCR framework, the resilience capabilities and recovery strategies, the framework of resilience capacity, the costs and value of the SCR, the risk assessment including the definition, analysis, and assessment of resilience measures, and relationships with vendors and customers. Moreover, in modelling supply chain resilience, the modelling methods, the end-to-end visibility, the digital technology, and resilience are discussed. Additionally, the measures of SCR, the network design characteristics and their relationship to resilience are addressed. Finally, the concept of the system-theoretic foundations of SCR and viability are examined.
