This module is designed to develop students’ ability to design psychological investigations, to understand the ethical implications of these investigations, and to assess the data collected. The focus is on considering the relative merits of different non-factorial experimental designs, teaching appropriate quantitative methods of analysis and introducing students to qualitative methods.
