Personality, intelligence and emotion

This course  addresses the field of individual differences, which focuses on understanding how and why people differ, when they are similar in so many ways too. It reviews major theories, research methods and findings and how these translate into practices in the fields of intelligence and personality It covers historical and contemporary aspects. Throughout this course, students will critically evaluate empirical research assessing the influence of nature and nurture on individual differences, and whether human behavior is determined by traits or changes as a function of states.
