The module aims to provide students with information on the Maritime Organisations, to give students the knowledge of the scope of Maritime Organisations and all the supporting system in the international trade, to increase students’ understanding of the processes of the Maritime Organisations, the legislation followed, and the certification requirements set in the shipping industry, to increase students’ understanding of how the shipping industry works under rules and regulations in the international environment, and to make students learn how to communicate with the shipping legal frameworks and make them learn the applied regulations of the Maritime Organisations in the shipping industry.
