Intro to Marketing and Communications

The module addresses principles of communication and its basic functions. Specifically, communication theory, the process of communication, verbal and non-verbal communication and word of mouth communications are analysed. It also addresses principles of marketing, where the importance of marketing in a business context and basic marketing and communication concepts are explained. Finally, students are introduced to traditional and digital media.
