The module will introduce students to the key areas in the law relating to Intellectual Property, including copyright, patents and trademarks in the digital economy. The module will investigate: Digital Copyright, Contemporary Issues in Digital IP, Software Agreements, Trademarks and Domain Names, The Management of Digital Rights, IP in Cyberspace, The Exploitation of Intellectual Property Rights, Liability of Internet Service Providers.
