The module focuses on the foundations of psychological research methods and presents the diversity history and nature of the discipline. It introduces students to key issues on how people think and act, as well as on how we can best understand, explain, and predict human behaviour. This is a foundation course on the study of mind and behaviour, drawing on topics from biological, cognitive, individual differences, social psychology, and the role of empirical research in psychology.
