This module will help students identify cruise patterns, shore excursions, passenger types, cruise destinations. Students will be exposed to key themes of operational management, human resource practices, lines of authority and management styles. The module also examines internal and external factors that affect the cruise industry and hotel services, among which market and demand, logistics, weather, culture, politics, labour relations. Passenger services like on-board facilities and services, shops, banking, hotel services, restaurants, bars, entertainment will be also examined. Finally, the module analyses customer care, the customer experience, and quality control.
