This module will be delivered via four-hour-long sessions per week providing scaffolded exercises and activities to help students read critically, formulate well-built arguments, deliver presentations and prepare and produce academic assignments using academic language.
Library sessions and activities will enable students to identify, assess and use information effectively. Presentations and workshops delivered by guest lecturers will help students understand and apply appropriate techniques and strategies for effective time management, conflict resolution and problem solving.
The teaching material will be uploaded on the ilearn after each lecture, followed by additional supporting material.
Content may have to be adapted to the English competence of the participants.
