Virtual Check!

Have the proper virtual equipment and test it at least one day before the interview! In this way, you are fully prepared ahead of time. Ensure your video and audio are working!

Prepare, prepare, prepare!

The interview questions are more or less standard with few exceptions. So, write them down and then take your time to note your answers! Give 2-3 minutes for each answer and be genuine! Think through some tangible examples to show how you think, how you interact with others, and how you have created an impact in previous roles and projects!

Be confident!

Dress up appropriately with a professional suit or dress and smile! Be positive, maintain a balanced level of professionalism and be yourself! Highlight the Action Plan! Avoid talking about your personal issues as long as they do not concern others. Talk about your strengths and enjoy expressing your achievements!

Be YOU

You remember that your cv got you to the interview. Your qualifications and profile gained the impression so now take your time and discuss about them during the interview. Give specific examples of how you have assisted your previous organisation to develop and grow! See your potential and brand yourself by promoting your skills and abilities!

Ask questions!

You are a person that wants to learn more about the company you are going now. So, before the interview make sure you have checked the website, learn about basic operations and information about the company and talk about them if asked. Still, prepare a list of questions that you may have not found answers in the website. Tailor your questions and address them to the interviewer! Learn more about the position and the role!

Brand Yourself!

Your skills and qualifications got you in the door! Make preparation and ensure that you speak confident about any experiences, promote your accomplishments on what you have achieved and convice through being YOU, that you are the right fit for the job!

Follow-Up

Ensure that two-three days after the interview, you send a short and kind email to the interviewer thanking about having the chance to meet them and clarify that you are interested in the job, if you are, while confirming that you are the right fit!
