Mr. Marios Bougioukas is the Director of the Logistics & SCM Department and responsible for this new program.
His path at BCA started in 2012 from the Marketing and Communication Department, since 2016 he belongs to the Shipping Department, where he is the Development Director and from this year he also took over the new Logistics and Supply Department.
He is a graduate of the College’s Department of Business Administration and holds two Master’s degrees, an MA Management and an MBA. He is also a Bridge Officer of the Greek Navy, a graduate of the Mediterranean Maritime Academy in Limassol and has served on a Tanker, Car Carrier, Mega-Yacht and a cruise ship. He is a member of the Hellenic Logistics Company – Eel, the Institute of Logistics Management of Greece – ILme and holder of the European Logistics Certification, according to the standards of the European Logistics Association – ELA. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Chios Marine Club. In recent years, he has implemented Webinars on transport and sustainable logistics issues, as well as on port logistics and specifically on the ports of Egnatia, with speakers from leading market executives. At the same time, he has organized educational activities in large companies in the sector, in order to inform the students of the market itself and very recently created a very strong Advisory Board, consisting of 30 leading figures in the sector and in which he is Moderator.
