The MSc Business Psychology and HRM offers students the opportunity to build their expertise in human behaviour in the workplace. The programme aims at the study of human behaviour in the workplace drawing equally form the scientific field of psychology (for example, motivation, counseling and psychometrics) and from the field of business (for HRM in the global context, corporate strategy and change management). Emphasis is placed in the employee selection, learning, development and support in order to ensure professional happiness and success and organizational performance.

This module provides students with an introduction to the theory and application, within the context of organisations and engaging case study examples.20 creditsMentoring, Coaching and Counseling in the WorkplaceThis module provides an introduction to the disciplines of mentoring, coaching and counseling which reside in a sector that has experienced significant growth in the past decade. In doing so it visits the different theories and methods (quantitative and qualitative) in place in support of such functions.20 creditsResearch MethodsThis module will cover advanced topics in research methods (quantitative and quantitative), will emphasize on inferential statistics with the use of SPSS and qualitative data analysis, and will address ethical concerns in conducting research. To this end, the field of corporate strategy is becoming increasingly important. Drawing on these factors, the module provides knowledge and skills that will help strategists to create agile structures that will be ready for change.10 creditsSocial PsychologyThis module provides students with a solid basis of knowledge and understanding of mainstream social psychology. By the end of this module, students should have familiarised themselves with the basic social psychological theories and relevant research, as well as being familiarised with the social psychological perspective of viewing everyday life.10 creditsWell being in the WorkplaceThis module will familiarize students with the study of well-being and the positive aspects of human experience in the workplace. The first part of the course will focus on the basic areas of research in positive psychology and the methods that researchers use to study well-being, while the second half will broaden the focus to include big-picture issues and real-world application in working environments.10 creditsLeadership, Power and PoliticsThe module focuses on theories and tactics of successful leadership, the use of power in terms of social and organisational interaction, as well as the manifestation of political tactics in an organisational context.10 creditsInnovation and EntrepreneurshipThe increasing importance of the so-called “knowledge economy” as well as the recent economic crisis have increased the importance of the international entrepreneurship venture. The global entrepreneur – an entrepreneur whose business is “born global” – is building on resources coming from anywhere in the world and facing international competition.10 creditsNegotiations and Decision MakingThe module presents the negotiation theory and strategies in business and organizational settings. The module introduces fundamental concepts and skills relevant to effective face-to-face and online communication in conflict situations that occur in the global environment by utilizing and integrating behavioural science insights with rational decision and formal methods of decision analysis.10 creditsHRM in a Global ContextThe module emphasizes the need for HR strategies to be formulated within the context of overall business strategies and objectives and to be responsive to the business’ dynamic global environment.
Applicants can be admitted to the course as long as they possess:
- a 2nd class honours degree from a UK University, or
- a Ptychion of 6.0 and above from an AEI University or
- a Ptychion of 7.0 and above from a TEI University, or
- a Bachelor from an American University with GPA 2.75 and above or equivalent qualification.
- IELTS: a minimum score of 6.5 (with a minimum score of 6.0 in each component of the test)
- Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE): Pass at C1 level
- Cambridge Advanced Certificate in English (CAE): Grade C and above
- Cambridge First Certificate in English (FCE): Grade b and above.
- Examination for the Certificate Proficiency in English (ECPE): P (Pass) and above.
- Pearson Academic (PTE): 53 (with a minimum score of 51 in each component of the test)
- BCA IELTS Placement Test : a minimum score of 6.5 (with a minimum score of 6.0 in each component of the test)

For prospective students who do not meet the standard English Language requirements, we offer intensive English sessions.
The MSc Business Psychology and HRM, our graduate degree, provides a strong basis on which one can build their expertise on human behaviour in an organisation. It is offered exclusively in the English language, allowing students to continue their studies abroad if they wish to do so, but most importantly allowing them to keep up-to-date with the international scientific literature as well as global developments in the area of business psychology.
The MSc in Business Psychology aims to:- Allow students to study all the different, yet complimentary, areas that comprise human behaviour in an organization, in ways that ensure the emotional fulfilment and efficiency of employees on the one hand, and the success and high performance of organisations, on the other.
- Allow students to combine theory with practice through academic talks that are delivered by distinguished professionals/researchers coming from all walks of business psychological life, e.g. HR specialists, counseling psychologists (career guidance, coaching), social psychologists and psychometricians etc.
- Provide both pre-experience career preparation and post-experience career development opportunities for participants from any business discipline background Seminars are being offered in collaboration with a number of specialized organisations, e.g. Orientum etc.
- Encourage the rich exploration of different areas within business psychology, the MSc in Business Psychology allows graduates to proceed to careers in any of the fields of business psychology they wish. Graduates can direct themselves towards HR management, training, career guidance/coaching, and consulting.
While most students will aim to achieve the full Masters qualification, all Masters courses offer the subsidiary awards of Postgraduate Certificate or Postgraduate Diploma (both available with Merit or with Distinction) for students unable to complete their full programme of study.

Following, she received a postgraduate degree on Management with Marketing from the University of Bath (UK), and a PhD in Consumer Behaviour from the Athens University of Economics and Business (Department of Marketing & Communications). Since 2008 she has been teaching marketing and communication and has worked as a freelance analyst-consultant on various projects. Her current research interests lie in the areas of consumer behaviour and psychology, as well as corporate social responsibility.
